QSO Parties are events that are held to meet old and new ham radio enthusiast. The rules listed here are for all general QSO parties. The purpose of a QSO Party is to encourage contact with a certain amateur radio stations located in a certain area by other hams of that area and hams worldwide.
QSO Parties are different for the most well-know international contests but they have a solid fan base of really passionate amateur radio operators.

WFWL is a common sentence between Amateur Radio Operators. It does mean: “Work’em first, worry later”.
